Tracking and Production

Every order is produced professionally and shipped with tracking. This allows you to monitor the journey of your book from the print facility to your doorstep. The 8 to 13 business day window accounts for both the high-quality printing process and the transit time. Because the books are custom-made, they are not held in inventory; they are printed specifically for your order to ensure the highest fidelity of the illustrations and text.

The Order Process: From Digital to Physical

The journey from a simple photo to a bound book is designed to be user-friendly and risk-free. BookBuddy separates the creative phase from the financial commitment. You can explore, create, and refine your story without paying a cent. The payment only occurs when you are completely satisfied with the digital preview and decide to order the physical copy.

Step 1: Create Your Digital Book for Free

Start by visiting the BookBuddy creation platform. You will upload a photo of the child, select an illustration style, and choose a theme or write your own story idea. The AI generates the book, including the text and illustrations, in approximately 5 to 15 minutes. This digital version is yours to keep, regardless of whether you order the print version. You can create as many digital books as you like for free, allowing you to experiment with different styles or stories for different children.

Step 2: Review and Edit

Once the AI has generated the book, you have full control over the content. You can read the entire story, edit the text to match your preferences, and request new versions of specific illustrations if a page does not look quite right. This step is crucial because it ensures the book reflects your vision. The system allows for unlimited changes to the text and images before you place an order. This flexibility means you are never locked into a generic template; the book is tailored to your specific family and story.

Step 3: Place Your Order

Understanding the Timeline

The total time from placing your order to receiving the book is typically 8 to 13 business days. This timeline is consistent across all supported European countries. If you are ordering a gift for a specific date, such as a birthday or Christmas, it is wise to order at least two to three weeks in advance. The exact delivery date is shown in the checkout process, allowing you to plan accordingly. For Christmas gifts, ordering by the end of November is recommended to account for potential holiday delays in shipping.
